Investigators need public's help to identify bank robbery suspect

DEKALB COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Local and federal agencies need the public's help in locating a man suspected of robbing a bank located inside a DeKalb County store Friday afternoon.

FBI acting Special Agent in Charge Ricky Maxwell along with DeKalb County Police Chief William Obrien said a man robbed a branch of Suntrust Bank located inside the Publix grocery store in Tucker.

The robber is described as a black male, mid to late 30s in age, 5'7" to 5'8" in height, medium build, wearing a dark wig, dark clothes and a dark blue baseball-style hat.

Investigators said the suspected robber entered the grocery store at 2162 Henderson Mill Rd. around 4:30 p.m. He jumped over the teller counter and grabbed an undisclosed amount of money, fleeing the scene on foot.
