Silver Alert canceled for Douglas County Alzheimer's patient

DOUGLAS COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Authorities in Douglas County have canceled a Silver Alert for a missing Alzheimer's patient.

Joseph David Porter a 66-year-old white male went missing about 1:30 a.m. in Douglas County. Police said he was found about eight hours later unharmed.

Porter has a history of wandering from home and is almost completely incapacitated.
