Clayton Co. police: Man shot while unloading groceries

CLAYTON COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Clayton County police are investigating a shooting that happened in Riverdale.

Officers said the victim, Demba Balde, was confronted by an unknown man as he was unloading groceries in the 600 block of Roxbury Drive.

When Balde tried to run away, the suspect shot him. Balde died, according to police.

Clayton County Police Department would like the public to contact the Criminal Investigation Division with information that could help solve this case 770-477-3648.
