Monroe police identify man's body discovered off Cherry Hill Road

MONROE, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Monroe police have identified the body of a man that was discovered Tuesday morning at a Transfer Station off Cherry Hill Road.

Police said around 9:00 a.m., City of Monroe Public Works Employees discovered Raul Alayon's body in a refuse trailer.

Police said the cause of death was blunt force trauma to the entire body.

This death is being investigated as a homicide.
