BARTOW COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Deputies arrested a man caught at gunpoint by a neighbor breaking into a home on Jones Mill Road, according to The Bartow County Sheriff's Office.

Sheriff Clark Millsap said the event unfolded around 6:40 p.m. Monday.

Deputies found Corey Biggers, 24, lying down on the ground being held at gunpoint by the  neighbor who called 911.

The neighbor told police Biggers drove by slowly after the homeowners had left and then backed into the driveway, leaving his truck running.

He then called the homeowners who said no one should be at their home. He decided to grab his gun and confront the intruder.

Biggers' truck was impounded and he was arrested and was booked into the Bartow County Jail on one count of burglary.
