Temple police investigate death following necrophilia arrest

CARROLL COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Police in Temple have opened a death investigation after charging a man with necrophilia.

Last week, police arrested 64-year-old Wade Davis for necrophilia. Police said his victim was 33.

Tuesday, Temple Police Chief Timothy Shaw told CBS Atlanta News that police were investigating how the victim died, in addition to the necrophilia charge.

Further details would not be released in investigation until the victim's autopsy results were available, Shaw said.
