Residents forced to jump from windows in early morning boarding house fire

ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -

At least seven residents of a southwest Atlanta boarding house are looking for a new place to stay after fire ripped through their home early Monday morning.

Fire crews arrived on the scene of the fire at the house on Parsons Street just after 5 a.m. as the residents were making their way out of the home, some jumping from second story windows.

Injuries are unknown at this time and the cause of the fire is under investigation, but is believed to have started in a vehicle parked against the house.
