Zoo Atlanta celebrates teachers

Zoo Atlanta held Educator Appreciation Day on Saturday.

Teachers received free admission and their guests received a discount. A zoo spokesperson said the teachers were able to experience private animal encounters and talk with the zoo's educational staff.

The zoo has more than 1,500 animals including the nation's largest zoological collection of orangutans.
