CHEROKEE COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
Cherokee County investigators along with Immigration and Customs Enforcement conducted a search for people who had previously been deported and illegally re-entered the country.
Officers located and arrested three people who were in the United States illegally on Tuesday.
The following people were arrested:
- Juan A. Cerano-Montez, 37, who was wanted by Cherokee Sheriff's Office on an outstanding bench warrant.
- Cerano-Montez was wanted by ICE for illegal re-entry into the U.S. after being deported.
- Juan Manuel Lucio-Gonzales who was wanted by federal authorities in Austin, TX. Lucio-Gonzales is a known Zetas gang member.
- Martin Heredia-Castro, who was wanted by Kennesaw police on an outstanding bench warrant for traffic charges. Henedia-Castro is in the country illegally.
All three people are being held with no bond for ICE.
