Man wanted in cruelty to children in Athens-Clarke County

Athens-Clarke County officers searching for man wanted in cruelty to children

Athens-Clarke County Police are searching for a man wanted on two felony counts of aggravated assault and two felony counts of cruelty to children.

Police say Alex Jemel Lomas was involved in an abuse incident against a 5-year-old child and a 7-year-old child which occurred on September 16.

Lomas is 27 years old and 6'1", about 215 pounds.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information about Lomas.
