Pretrial hearing for martial arts instructor charged in rape

DEKALB COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

A karate instructor who was indicted on two counts of rape and one count of aggravated child molestation will attend a pretrial hearing on Monday.

A DeKalb County Grand Jury returned a three-count indictment on Adrian Thomas Spellen in August.

Spellen allegedly raped a female student in May and June of this year, according to police reports.

The hearing will take place at 1:30 p.m.
