SMYRNA, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

The Smyrna police need the public's help to locate a missing person.

The department has issued a Mattie's Call for Aniya Silas, 19, of Smyrna. Silas has a diminished mental capacity, according to police.

She was last seen Saturday, Sept. 15 around 11:40 a.m., outside her home at Megan's Pointe Apartments on Roswell Street.

Silas is 5'3" tall and weighs 105 pounds. She has a dark complexion with brown eyes.

Silas was last seen wearing a black shoulder-length wig with short hair underneath. There was no description on the shirt Silas was wearing, but she was wearing capri-style blue jeans with pink and gray high top sneakers.

Silas' family members told police she got into a white or cream colored newer model Chrysler 300.

Police say the disappearance of Silas is under investigation, but the initial investigation does not indicate that Silas was abducted.

Anyone with any information about Silas' location or who has seen her is asked to call 911 or the Smyrna Police Department at 770-434-6666.
