Spalding County deputy arrested, terminated

SPALDING COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

A 10-year veteran of the Spalding County Sheriff's Office was arrested on Thursday and charged with forgery.

As a result of this incident Deputy Thomas Blake Custer, 31, was terminated from the department.

Custer was released from the Spalding County Sheriff's Office Detention Center on $5,703 bond.

The office did not release details surrounding Custer's arrest.
