Police: $100k in laptops stolen from South Carolina businesses, arrest made

SOUTH CAROLINA (CBS ATLANTA) -

The Greenville Police Department in South Carolina arrested a man after 75 laptops were stolen from businesses in the downtown area.

Donald Carter, 34,was charged with burglary and one count of grand larceny.

Officers said the laptops are worth $100,000.

Investigators discovered that Carter was frequently in the Atlanta area.
