Real warrior’s campaign shines light on suicide prevention awareness month

ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -

September is national suicide prevention awareness month.

The Real Warriors Campaign is asking Americans to help spread the word about the many psychological health tools and resources available for active duty service members.

The Real Warriors Campaign urges service members and veterans to reach out for care for invisible wounds.

Suicide now ranks as the second largest cause of death for service members, according to the Real Warriors Campaign.
