MARIETTA, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
Marietta detectives arrested a softball coach for multiple sexual offenses against a child.
Isuru Pasan Perera was arrested on Sept. 8, after several sexual incidents happened involving a juvenile girl, according to police.
The girl was at the Champion Softball Complex on Commerce Park Drive.
The victim told police that Perera would coerce and intimidate her to commit multiple sexual acts.
For two years, each assault occurred in Perera's office at the complex, according to police reports.
Perera was charged with cruelty to children, aggravated sodomy, sexual battery, aggravated sexual battery, computer pornography and distribution of obscene material.
The Marietta Police Department is concerned there may be other unreported victims of Perera and wants anyone with information to contact Detective Moeller at 770-794-2366.
