A woman returned to her DeKalb County home late Sunday to find flames shooting from the Waterview Lane house.
DeKalb firefighters were called just before midnight to the Stone Mountain area home.
Crews worked to knock down the fire, but told CBS Atlanta that 75 percent of the home was destroyed, and it was likely no longer inhabitable.
No injuries were reported in the blaze.
Firefighters said the cause of the fire is under investigation.
