Mattie's Call cancelled for missing Fairburn woman

FAIRBURN, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

A 59-year-old woman reported missing from Fairburn Sunday has been found.

Ella Gowdy was found, uninjured, in an industrial area near Hwy. 74.

She was evaluated where she was found and released to her family.

She was recognized by a citizen who had heard about the missing person through the news.

Police said Gowdy suffers from dementia.
