ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -
Until Wednesday, even public works officials were not sure if Lower Wall Street in downtown Atlanta was city property.
The street has not been maintained in decades.
So Wednesday, Pothole Patrol got confirmation: The street that runs behind the old AJC building and underneath Peachtree Street near the Underground is a city street.
Wednesday night and Thursday morning, city crews began cleaning up and filling the holes. It's one of Pothole Patrol's quickest responses to date.
Check it out Thursday at 4:30, 5:30 and 11 p.m. on CBS Atlanta News.
