FAYETTE COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
Fayetteville residents may soon be able to drink their way into the next day.
On Thursday, the Fayetteville City Council will consider allowing bars and restaurants to serve alcohol until 1 a.m.
As of now, alcohol sales cease at midnight on Saturday and Sunday.
The council will also discuss reducing the percentage of food sales that a restaurant must have in order to serve alcohol.
