Fairburn police: Man wanted for aggravated child molestation

FAIRBURN, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

The Fairburn Police Department is searching for a 40-year-old man wanted for aggravated child molestation and enticing a child for indecent purposes.

Fairburn investigators believe Jerome Pope had sexual relations with a juvenile female twice.

Investigators said Pope was a friend of the family.

He may be in the Meriwether County or Rockdale County areas.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Fairburn Police Department at 770-964-1441.
