Atlanta police searching for men involved in pedestrian robbery

ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Atlanta police are investigating a pedestrian robbery in the area of Fair Street and Peters Street on Monday.

The victim told police that he left his apartment building and began walking down Peters Street when he noticed four men sitting inside a gold Chevrolet Malibu.

The victim walked past the car and noticed that three of the men exited and began following him.

The victim crossed the street and continued walking, and the men quickly approached him and one pointed a handgun at him while the other men went through the his pockets.

After robbing the victim, the men ran down Fair Street toward Walker Street.

A short time after the robbery, the men were caught on camera using the victim's debit card at the BP Station on Boulevard Avenue.
