ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -
When the city of Atlanta installed new curbing at the intersection of Howell Mill and Collier roads, the intentions were good.
They also put in a mini-island at the corner to deter cars from driving up onto the sidewalk.
But from day one, it was obvious that someone miscalculated.
The turn is now so narrow that one in three cars drives up onto the island. And for trucks, there's no other option.
The city said after Pothole Patrol's last story that it was re-evaluating its decision.
Now, Pothole Harry is doing a study of his own. Watch Pothole Patrol at 4 p.m., 5 p.m. and 6 p.m.
