DULUTH, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

A retired newspaper deliveryman won a $1 million prize from the Georgia Lottery.

J.T. Willis, 72, who delivered newspapers for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution for 14 years, matched the first five numbers from the Aug. 8 Powerball drawing.

The Lawrenceville resident claimed his prize Thursday at the Georgia Lottery District Office in Duluth.

Willis, who has one adult son with his wife, Verdella, has no immediate plans for his windfall.

"I'm too young to make plans. I just do it," Willis said.
