NEW ORLEANS (AP) -
In areas of Louisiana where hundreds of thousands were left without power by Hurricane Isaac, drivers are patrolling streets, looking for gas.
They're facing long waits at those stations that have electricity to run the pumps.
The remainder of the storm, meanwhile, is still a powerful system bringing rain and the threat of flash flooding from Arkansas into Missouri and then up the Ohio River valley over the weekend.
And the damage may still not be done in Louisiana. Officials are releasing extra water through a dam in Mississippi, near the Louisiana border.
There are concerns it could release a 17-floot flood crest downstream in Louisiana if it gives way. Crews may end up punching a hole in it to lower the reservoir.
Meanwhile, residents of neighborhoods that were left under water may be out of their homes for a few more days before the water recedes.
The storm is blamed for at least five deaths in Louisiana and Mississippi.
The latest two victims were found in a home in a town south of New Orleans, in an area hard-hit by flooding.
