Police are searching for a suspect who shot a man sitting outside a home in northwest Atlanta early Friday morning.
The victim, 20-year-old Tykievien Banks, was shot multiple times in the upper torso and arm.
A witness, La'monte Gibbons, told police that around 1 a.m., he, Banks and another man were sitting on the porch of the home on Paines Avenue, listening to music.
Gibbons told police he went inside the home briefly and heard gunshots. When he returned to the porch, he found Banks with gunshot wounds.
Banks was unable to talk to police about what happened, and was rushed into surgery. By Friday afternoon, police said he was in stable condition.
No arrests have been made.
