Police are looking for a man who got away after a shootout at an East Point apartment complex late Thursday night that left three people, including the apartment's tenant, critically wounded.
The tenant, who was home alone, opened fire on at least two men who apparently broke into his townhome at the Regency Park Apartments just before 11 p.m., police said.
The intruders fired back at the tenant. At least three of the men were hit multiple times.
Police said two of the intruders ran from the home and collapsed about 70 yards away. All three men were taken in area hospitals in critical but stable condition.
According to an officer on the scene, one of the suspects had outstanding warrants, but the officer did not elaborate.
