Caught on camera: High-speed chase ends in crash after robbery

Posted: Updated:
CONYERS, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Armed robbers terrorized a Quiktrip gas station employee in Conyers in the middle of the night. The robbers then took police on a high-speed chase where speeds went faster than 100 mph - and everything was caught on camera.

Surveillance cameras show two men walking into the gas station. One of them brandishes a handgun that's trained on the cashier.

The brazen robbery suspects don't even care that the store is full of customers during the crime - shoppers can be seen cowering to avoid the attention of the gunmen.

Then the two gunmen take off out the front door, jump in a getaway car and immediately find themselves in a police chase.

The two suspects and a third man lead police on a chase where speeds reached more than 100 mph.

But the chase ends eight miles away at Highway 138 and O'Neil Road, where police arrested all three suspects: 18-year-old Antionne Foster, 19-year-old Darrelle Robinson and 20-year-old Alphonso Watts III.

All men face armed robbery, aggravated assault, obstruction of police officers and false imprisonment charges.
