GWINNETT COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
Hazmat crews were on the scene of I-85 N at Jimmy Carter in Gwinnett County after a tractor-trailer spilled chemicals.
A driver on I-85 called police due to a soap liquid leaking onto his car from a tractor trailer.
Both vehicles pulled on to the ramp.
As a precaution, paramedics have evaluated the officer and two people from the passenger car who were exposed.
They were released at the scene and are not being transported to the hospital by ambulance.
One lane of the ramp to Jimmy Carter Boulevard has been re-opened.
Officers said the situation is now under control and the leak is stopped.
The tanker truck was heading from Illinois to Statham.
