COBB COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
A Cobb County man accused of running an illegal drug recovery facility in his home will go on trial next month.
After talking to the Cobb County solicitor Thursday morning about his case, Kevin Weikum opted for a trial.
Weikum has been cited by code enforcement for housing too many non-family members in his single family home.
Weikum said he is not breaking any laws and is helping recovering addicts get back on their feet.
Many of his neighbors, however, said what he is doing isn't appropriate for their neighborhood.
Weikum is due back in court Sept. 27.
