LOVEJOY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
Lovejoy police said they are investigating a sexual assault involving three teenagers.
Police said a 14-year-old girl was sexual assaulted Monday evening.
Police said the teen attends Lovejoy High School in Clayton County and it happened in the wood line near her school.
Investigators said the alleged victim and two boys, ages 14 and 16, agreed to walk to their homes rather than take the bus.
Detectives said the boys convinced the alleged victim to stop in the woods and engage in sex acts.
Police have charged the 14-year-old with statutory rape and sodomy. The 16-year-old is also facing a sodomy charge.
Investigators said the pair could face further charges.
