DEKALB COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
The man killed Thursday morning in a crash involving a DeKalb County School bus has been identified.
The crash happened on Panthersville Road at Oakvale Road, near Oakvale Elementary.
Witnesses said a black SUV, traveling at a high rate of speed, hit the bus from behind around 7:20 a.m. The SUV's driver, who police identified as Kenneth Holbrook, 37, was pronounced dead on the scene.
The bus was only carrying one student and one driver. They were not injured but were taken to the hospital as a precaution.
An approximately one-mile section of Panthersville Road was shut down in both directions for nearly two hours.
