QUEENSLAND, AUSTRALIA (CBS ATLANTA) -
While koalas aren't typically known to be big swimmers, a koala in Queensland, Australia, decided to brave the waters of Burleigh Point to meet up with some people paddling in canoes.
The video, posted on YouTube, shows the koala wade into the water, quickly swim over to one of the canoes and scratch on the side for help.
According to the person who posted the video, the people in the canoe didn't know what to do, so they hoisted the koala into the boat.
The koala then jumped up on a seat as the stunned paddlers looked on.
