BARROW COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
Barrow County sheriff's investigators have arrested a South Carolina man whom they say targeted a mother and her young child in Winder for sex.
On Tuesday, police arrested 62-year-old David Alan Wolf, a resident of Rock Hill, SC.
According to a spokesperson with the Barrow County Sheriff's Office, Wolf had been online chatting for two weeks with a 34-year-old woman who was the mother of an 8-year-old daughter.
That 34-year-old woman was actually an undercover Winder police officer assigned to the Barrow County Sheriff's Office Task Force.
Investigators said the chats included sexually explicit requests from Wolf, who traveled to Winder on Tuesday with the intent of having sex with the woman and her daughter.
When he arrived in Winder, he was arrested and taken to the Barrow County Detention Center.
