RINGGOLD, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
The Northwest Georgia Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested four men who they say tried to have sex with a minor.
On Aug. 12, the Federal Bureau of Investigation arrested Jordan Banther, 20, of Dalton; on Aug. 15, Brad Jones, 27, of Signal Mountain, TN; and on Aug. 18, Robert Murphy, 45, of Cleveland, TN, and Trey Allen, 20, of Chattanooga, TN, in Ringgold after they traveled there to meet a minor child for purposes of having sex.
All four men came to the attention of law enforcement over the internet when they began a series of "chats" with undercover agents regarding their desire to have sex with a minor child.
