ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Friends and family will remember a couple killed when they were struck by a hit and run driver.

A memorial service will be held in McDonough Tuesday afternoon for Danya, 31, and William Crumbley, 33, of Atlanta at the Cannon Cleveland Funeral Home beginning at 2 p.m.

Bryan Butler, 20, lost control of his vehicle on Saturday near the intersection of Memorial Drive and Grant Street in southeast Atlanta.

The couple was walking from a BP gas station on Memorial Drive when police say Butler hit and killed them, then left the scene.

Butler was arrested and charged with two counts of hit-and-run, two counts of homicide by vehicle and reckless driving.  He waived his first court appearance on Monday.

Drugs, alcohol and speed may have contributed to the accident.

More information on the memorial and the couple can be found at the funeral home's website: http://www.cannonclevelandfunerals.com/
