Student who shot self at Banks County High dies

BANKS COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Investigators want to know more about a Banks County High School student who shot himself inside a school bathroom last week.

The school was put on lockdown after Friday's shooting.

The student, who police have not identified, was airlifted to Grady Memorial Hospital, but died Saturday morning.

Investigators found the gun and are investigating the teen's death as a possible suicide.
