Hate taking your shoes off when going through airport security? Don't plan on putting them back on any time soon.
After spending millions of dollars testing scanning devices that would let air travelers keep their shoes on, the Transportation Security Administration says its policy won't change.
The TSA said that all four devices that were under consideration failed to adequately detect explosives and metal weapons at the checkpoints.
Removing shoes is frequently listed as a top gripe among fliers.
