Clayton County Sheriff recruit arrested in Butts County drug sting

CLAYTON COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Butts County deputies conducted an undercover drug sting Thursday where a Clayton County Sheriff recruit was apparently arrested.

According to authorities, the recruit purchased drugs from an undercover officer and was later arrested at the police training facility in Forsyth.

Clayton County Sheriff Kem Kimbrough was immediately notified of the arrest.

Christina Danielle Allen, 30, is charged with illegal possession of a controlled substance and violation of oath of office.
