CANTON, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
Two men were arrested in connection to a smash and grab burglary in Canton.
The incident happened Monday at Shell Food Mart along Riverstone Parkway.
The suspects were identified as Robert Goodwin Jr., 24, and 19-year-old Anthony Alston.
Detectives said the men took beer and cigarettes. They tried to use clothing to cover their faces and hands during the incident.
They were arrested when they went to retrieve the stolen goods after hiding them in a nearby wooded area, according to police.
