Eastbound I-20 reopens after 4-vehicle accident

DOUGLAS COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Two lanes of eastbound I-20 have reopened after they were shut down due to a four-vehicle accident.

The accident happened around 10:30 Monday morning, just east of Thornton Road.

One person was thrown from their vehicle and one vehicle was overturned, according to a spokesperson with the Georgia Department of Transportation.

Information regarding injuries wasn't released.
