Section of Peachtree Street open after police investigation

Peachtree Street in Midtown

ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Atlanta police shut down a section of Peachtree Street in Midtown due to police activity.

Officers shut down the road between Spring Street and the Buford Connector entrance around 5:30 p.m.

Northbound and southbound traffic was diverted onto the Buford Connector.
