BARROW COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
The evacuation has been lifted at the Gateway Cinemas movie theater in Barrow County, according to the Barrow County Sheriff's Office.
The theater, owned by Carmike Cinemas, is located on Exchange Boulevard in Bethlehem.
Sheriff's deputies had to evacuate the theater to investigate a police situation.
No one was injured.
Carmike Cinemas released a statment about the incident:
The theater was checked and deemed safe for use. Carmike Cinemas would like to express our thanks to the law enforcement agencies that quickly responded and ensured the safety of our guests.
