AUSTELL, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
Cobb County police responded to an armed robbery at the Wendy's at 185 South Service Rd. in Austell.
Police said Wendy's employees fled to the back door of the restaurant when a man entered holding a gun Thursday.
The suspect forced them back inside and began demanding money from them, according to the victims.
The suspect also forced an employee to retrieve money from a small safe.
The man took off with cash and a customer's cell phone.
There were no injuries during the crime and anyone with information about it is asked to call (770) 499-3945.
