ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -
Police are investigating a pedestrian robbery that happened Wednesday along Merritt Avenue.
Victim Anslem M. Seemungal told police he was sitting on the air condition unit at his apartment as he was working on his laptop when three men approached him.
Anslem said one of the suspects tapped him on the back of the shoulder.
When he looked up, the suspect was holding a handgun and demanded his computer and whatever he had on his possession, according to the victim.
Anslem gave the suspect his laptop and started fumbling to take off his bracelet when the suspect's phone rang, according to police reports.
The suspect answered the call and then fled towards Pine Street with his laptop, but was in too much of a hurry to take the bracelet, according to Anslem.
Anslem was not injured.
The suspect was described to be in his 20s, about 5'8" and around 110 to 120 pounds.
