CANTON, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Police are searching for two men whom they said stole dozens of iPods from a Walmart in Canton, and are believed to part of a larger theft ring.

On July 19, Canton police were called out to the Walmart on Riverstone Parkway.

That's where store employees told police that 51 iPods had been stolen during the early morning hours of the day.

The stolen iPods were worth more than $7,000.

Detectives identified the two suspects as Dexter Damion Griffith, 20, and Joshua Ryan Cole, 22.

Police said they believed Griffith and Cole were the same suspects responsible for 14 other thefts in Georgia and Alabama.

Detectives got search warrants for both Griffith and Cole. Neither had yet been arrested.
