Accused rapist arrested in Gwinnett County

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Gwinnett County deputies arrested a man for a burglary and rape after an ongoing surveillance investigation.

Norcross Police said on Aug. 12, Duoc Nguyen raped 16-year-old after breaking into her home.

Nguyen was arrested Tuesday after fugitive investigators conducted surveillance at 580 Avalon Forest Dr. in Lawrenceville.

Nguyen was seen leaving his home and getting into a Honda Accord.

He was pulled over at the intersection of Cruse Road and Bethesda School Road, according to police.

Nguyen was taken to Gwinnett County Jail.
