TM Lynch Ministries honored women veterans at a book signing and awards ceremony.
The event was called "Let's Pray - Leave it at the Altar Prayer Breakfast and Award Ceremony." It was held on Saturday in Atlanta.
Army Spc. Shoshana Johnson was in attendance to sign copies of her book. She was the first Afican-American woman prisoner of war of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
The organization is a nonprofit and said the proceeds go toward children, families and veterans in the community.
