Conyers airman dies from injuries following Afghanistan bombing

CONYERS, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

An airman from Conyers died from his injuries after he was hurt in a bombing in Afghanistan.

Maj. Walter D. Gray, 38, died on Aug. 8 after he was hurt in a suicide bomb attack in the Kunar Province.

Gray was a member of the 13th Air Support Operations Squadron, based in Fort Carson, CO.
