BLACKMAN TOWNSHIP, MI (CNN) -
If cats have nine lives, one feline in Michigan may be down to eight after surviving a horrific injury.
The cat's owner said the cat, named Baby, came home with an arrow stuck in his skull that had entered on one side and exited the other.
Baby was taken to the Michigan State University veterinary clinic where veterinarians said he probably survived because the arrow didn't hit any vital organs.
Baby underwent surgery and is expected to be OK.
Authorities are still trying to find the shooter.
